What cortisol is
In the right dose, at the right moment, cortisol is one of the most useful hormones your brain produces. Cortisol is not inherently harmful. It is a signal to adapt. Whether that adaptation makes you more capable or less capable depends on whether the pressure is temporary or permanent. Turns out the villain was just misunderstood.
